FURIA among invites for Pinnacle Cup VI

The tournament organizer has revealed the first set of invites for the online event.

Pinnacle Cup VI has been announced, with FURIA headlining the current list of teams set to participate in the competition.

The tournament will kick off on October 4 with the play-in portion of the event, which will run until October 7. The top four teams from the play-in will join 12 invited teams for the group stage, which will run October 9-17, with the top eight from the group stage heading to the playoffs, where another four invited teams will join the competition. The playoffs will take place from October 19-24.

FURIA are currently the only playoff invitees, with three more playoff invites to be doled out at a later date. Teams like Aurora, Bad News Eagles and 00NATION are among those to receive group stage invites, whilst the most notable team by far signed up for the play-in is the in-form Sprout squad. Both of those stages of the competition also have three invites left to be announced.

00NATION claim Pinnacle Cup V title over FURIA

FURIA return for another stab at the competition after coming second in Pinnacle Cup V, where health issues suffered by Kaike "⁠KSCERATO⁠" Cerato saw his team lose the final to 00NATION, who are also in attendance this time around.
