GamerLegion part ways with KittyTM over "discriminatory comments"
The Irish player is out of GL Prism after screenshots of racist remarks through in-game text channels surfaced on Twitter.

Chloe "KittyTM" Geaney and GL Prism have parted ways with immediate effect after just two days together, the organization has announced.
The news comes amid screenshots shared on Twitter purportedly showing the Irish player using racist and derogatory language via in-game text channels.
One of the screenshots shared on Twitter dates back to September 1, close to three weeks before GamerLegion announced the signing of the 20-year-old and her teammates.
KittyTM was unveiled, alongside the rest of the GL Prism squad, in GamerLegion's entrance into the women's scene on Saturday with the signing of the former Let Her Cook roster.

"As an international esports organization, GamerLegion proudly unites a team that spans a spectrum of backgrounds and experiences," the organization began in a press release shared on their Twitter account. "The common thread that binds us all is our genuine passion for esports, which transcends cultural boundaries and has the power to bridge gaps.
"Our dedication to promoting diversity expands particularly to our female teams, as we recognize the importance of breaking down stereotypes and encouraging greater representation for women in esports. By showcasing the talent and dedication of our female players, we hope to inspire more aspiring players to pursue their dreams, regardless of gender.
"We firmly denounce discriminatory comments and behavior, as they not only harm individuals but also tarnish the spirit of competition that esports embodies. This is why parting ways with KittyTM is inevitable and with immediate effect. We deeply regret any harm that may have been caused by the comment made, and we are committed to learning from this experience as well and continuing our commitments to promote diversity and inclusion in esports."
