Ådne "⁠sense⁠" Fredriksen will stand in for Martin "⁠STYKO⁠" Styk, amid rumors of the Slovak possibly being sidelined from Apeks, during the team's upcoming campaign through the CCT East Europe Series 2 playoffs.

sense, who has plied his trade for Apeks Rebels for over two years, is no stranger to Apeks. The 20-year-old also stood in for Damjan "⁠kyxsan⁠" Stoilkovski during Apeks' 1-2 loss to Spirit Academy in the ESL Challenger League Season 45 upper-bracket final back in May.

The Norwegian struggled individually in his call-up to the main squad, however, averaging a modest 0.78 rating and ending proceedings at the bottom of his side's scoreboard.

CCT East Europe Series 2 will also mark sense's first official matchup since said stand-in stint, with Apeks Rebels mostly lying dormant ever since Torbjørn "⁠mithR⁠" Nyborg slowly began his transition to the main squad back in March.

The Dane was unveiled as Apeks' head coach — taking the reins from Jakub "⁠kuben⁠" Gurczynski — in early September, and will now briefly reunite with sense during the team's soon-to-begin tournament outing.

The playoffs of CCT East Europe Series 2, which began with the group stage on September 11, is due to kick off on Tuesday, with Apeks taking on FORZE in the opening round at 15:00 .

You are just basing it on rating after each match ends. His rating = exit and eco frags, + throwing crucial rounds like happened in the EPL Group. In the eye test and role by role he is barely the third best on the team.

I like STYKO and his CS youtube channel, but watching the Apeks games STYKO anchoring bombsites was always a free round when targeted by teams..he liked giving over control to the enemy team and finding 0 impact while they flooded in. And his late lurking roles-duties Tside always left him last one alive with very little impact on the game Hope he keeps up the youtube though cause God knows he's had enough experience, time and grinding to showcase skills that still elude his game play and impact in the server.
