1WIN secure CCT East Europe Series 2 title

1WIN have come out victorious in the online CCT East Europe Series 2 tournament and took home the $22,000 grand prize following a 2-0 win over Sprout in the grand final.

The Kirill "⁠Boombl4⁠" Mikhailov-led team had been one of the teams directly invited to the playoffs and made it through the single elimination bracket beating Pompa, Preasy, and Aurora losing just one map in the process, in a hard-earned quarter-final win against the Danish team.

1WIN have found great success in the Champion of Champions Tour since the summer break, with this being their third consecutive title in the circuit. The Russians previously won the Central Europe Series 7 tournament in mid-August and the $200,000 Online Finals 3 last week.

Their star AWPer, Denis "⁠deko⁠" Zhukov, was instrumental to that success with superb performances and consistent output, averaging a 1.27 average across the three tournaments and just two in 30 maps in the red.
