MIBR beat Alliance to win MEO XL Cup LAN
The Swedish side took second place in their first outing since signing with Alliance.

MIBR have won their first LAN tournament since 2018 at the MEO XL Cup, a small four-team LAN in Portugal. The Brazilian side won over FTW and Alliance to secure the title in a confidence-boosting showing after a 17-20th placed finish at ESL Pro League.
Felipe "insani" Yuji starred with a 1.48 rating and 106 ADR over six maps as MIBR converted their world ranking advantage into a tournament victory in convincing fashion.

It was Alliance's first LAN tournament in Counter-Strike after the organization signed 416Olsk ahead of the transition to CS2. The team has had notable success in other games, winning The International in Dota 2, and is now committing to support Swedish esports.
Alliance opened their tally with a 2-0 win over #33-ranked ALTERNATE aTTaX and challenged MIBR on Anubis and Mirage in the final, but ultimately fell short over the full best-of-five.
The Swedes will also compete at BLAST's Fall Showdown against ENCE after Victory Zigzag were disqualified, in an even sterner test for Simon "twist" Eliasson and company.
