Imperial are set to sign Kaiky "⁠noway⁠" Santos, who will become the team's official fifth member after the conclusion of BLAST Premier Fall Showdown Americas, according to a report from Dust2.br. He will take the place of temporary stand-in Lucas "⁠LUCAS1⁠" Teles.

Jhonatan "⁠JOTA⁠" Willian was recently benched from Imperial's starting lineup after their disappointing showing at ESL Pro League, where they were eliminated after back-to-back losses to Apeks and 5yclone.

LUCAS1 was later announced as a stand-in for the team's upcoming BLAST Fall Showdown campaign, but should the report come to pass, noway will be the team's long-term fifth after the conclusion of the BLAST event.

The report mentioned that noway has stood in for Imperial during practices in the past, leading to public praise from Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo for his talent and potential, and that the young Brazilian had also been linked with a potential move to Fluxo.

noway is a well-known streamer in the Brazilian community, sporting more than 137,000 followers, and has featured in 11 HLTV-recorded maps since September 2022, playing with Seleção do bt0. The team lost every single series they played across a number of qualifiers and regional leagues, but noway racked up some impressive stats in that time, boasting a 1.17 rating and impressive 1.31 impact rating.

Now get that baiting stat padding selfish bot AWPer Hen1 out of there and find someone young and hungry who actually can AWP and play for the team instead of themselves. Hen1 has proven he’s unable to play for the team , he cannot AWP and is the most selfish player in BR CS. Thing is there isn't much great brazilian awpers, the ones are in the biggest teams are way too passive or baiters. You can easily see that when brazilian teams face tier2 european teams they get smashed by awpers who look for entries/first kills because there is no one to face it

Agreed up until the part where Jame carries his team at times and wins a Major MVP award....he doesn't lose to Tyloo at Cologne 2022 whiffing and baiting like Hen1, Jame actually carries at times and has 3 MVP medals to show for it...Jame carried vs Liquid games and not losing to Fnatic and Lynne Vision in embarrassing fashion like Hen1 baiting for stats...instead Jame decided to lose to 9z as he selfishly saved his AWP for cs2.

Guess you are forgeting qikert and yekindar there... would you say we had the same caliber players on the teams Hen1 played ? I think Hen1 is a very good player, after Fallen he is the best awper we ever had om Brazil, but things seems like not working out for him somehow.

I watched Imperial at Blast Washington and was thoroughly impressed by their incredible talent,teamwork,synergy and run...they had something like 13 flash assist as they 2-0ed Vitality, took a map off G2 and Vinnie had 33 kills vs Heroic as they swept Heroic away...probably the best event I witnessed outside of NaVi vs Faze Cologne 2022, but with hen1 baiting and not flashing its just nothing Vini can work with.

Your missing the point, FalleN had almost no AWP impact when they beat Vitality in Washington...he threw 13 effective flashbangs for chelo,vini,and boltz enabling them to beat Vitality 16-3 on Overpass right after they won the Major...never fired a single AWP shot unless it was trading out a teammate or throwing flash assist...I Know what the team Imperial is capable of if they had a selfless AWP talent playing FOR the team instead of for Stats and exit frags like Hen1
