MIBR, FURIA book final PARI Please playoff spots
The Brazilian teams join 9 Pandas and Eternal Fire in the bracket stage.

FURIA and MIBR are through to the playoffs of PARI Please after they earned victories over Aurora and BetBoom, respectively, in their groups' decider matches.
Both Brazilian teams made it to the winners' matchups of their groups, but couldn't make good on their first attempt to make the bracket stage after they fell to Eternal Fire and 9 Pandas.
Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's men nearly couldn't convert upon their second try, either, as Aurora took them the distance in a three-map series. The Russian team struck first on FURIA's pick of Inferno, a strong middle stint allowing them to establish an 11-5 lead before FURIA finally began to gain ground.
That recovery effort proved too little, too late from the Brazilian side though as Denis "deko" Zhukov led his team to victory, 13-9, but a 2-0 sweep it wasn't to be.
A reinvigorated FURIA arrived on the server for Ancient, the only map to repeat in the pool from the teams' first meeting in the opening match, and things unfolded very similarly to that first meeting as the map went the distance.
The teams remained neck-and-neck at the end of the first half, but FURIA began to run away with things once on the T side. The FalleN-led side reached map point at 12-9, but couldn't convert that into victory until after Aurora forced overtime.
The extra set of rounds was all FURIA, however, with the Brazilians owing their thanks for the map victory to Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes and his seven first kills that proved to be the difference maker in getting the win.
A solid start to the CT side of the Nuke decider had FURIA up 7-1 and made victory in the series look like a sure thing, but Aurora dug deep to bring themselves back into the map.
A back-and-forth in the second half saw the teams battle all the way to the finish line, but the Russians ultimately couldn't contend with Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato, who ended the map with a 1.70 rating and 112 ADR to help edge out a 13-11 win for his side.

MIBR had a much easier time of things against pre-tournament favorites BetBoom, who entered the event as the highest-ranked team in attendance. Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov's side struggled to get much going in their all-deciding match, however, 3-0 and 4-0 leads at the start of Anubis and Mirage being the only times they held any form of a lead in the series.
That 3-0 start on Anubis vanished as MIBR put up a masterclass T side, giving up just one more round en route to an 8-4 lead at the break. BetBoom's efforts to bring things back in the second half were shortlived as a pistol win gave MIBR all the rope they needed to close things out early into their CT side effort, winning the map 13-7.
An equally potent T side on their own pick of Mirage kept MIBR ahead for most of the second map, with BetBoom only briefly evening the score near the start of the second half at 8-8. That window of opportunity to force a third map was immediately slammed closed by Raphael "exit" Lacerda and company, however, with them dropping just one more round en route to a 13-9 win.
