VERTEX unveil Valiance
This will be the 23-year-old’s second stint with VERTEX, having briefly featured for the team in 2022.

VERTEX have officially announced the signing of Matthew "Valiance" Hartrick, having already played several tournaments with the rifler. The Australian side played their first match with their new addition on October 28.
The move completes the VERTEX roster after Liam "malta" Schembri recently retired from competitive play, the 28-year-old doing so after the conclusion of the team's winless run at IEM Sydney.

Valiance has already featured for VERTEX in the past, albiet briefly, playing 11 maps for the squad mid-way through 2022. He left the team shortly after joining and did not feature in a HLTV-recorded match for the rest of the year.
At the start of 2023 Valiance reappeared on HLTV, playing several games for VERTEX as a stand-in, before turning out for mix-teams like e-LEMON-ators and John Industries.
Since returning to VERTEX's ranks Valiance has helped the squad earn second-place finishes at back-to-back CCT events, losing in the final to Rooster both times.
