Fnatic won Arbalet Cup 2010 and avenged themselves for the IEM silver after beating Natus Vincere 2-1.
On de_inferno, a tremendous start by fnatic saw the Swedish team conquer the first six rounds. Although a recovery was expected from Na´Vi after making it 6-1, fnatic played the rest of the map flawlessly as they nailed down an impressive 16-1 success.
De_train started off with Na´Vi, who were playing as CT, winning the opening three rounds, before fnatic engaged on a seven-round streak. The rest of the first half went both ways as teams practically took turns to make it 9-6 in favour of fnatic.
The second half brought a Na´Vi team determined to prove that they had something to say, and the Ukrainians put themselves up for the first time in the match. Fnatic would still try to turn things around, but all they managed was two rounds as Na´Vi won it 16-12.
The third map, de_dust2, pretty much followed the same trend as de_inferno, as fnatic got off to a flying start, winning the first eight rounds. Na´Vi then began to react and finally found a way to break through the Swedes’ defense, but still the scoreboard showed a seven-round lead at the break that seemed too heavy for the Ukrainians’ shoulders.
In the second half, fnatic won the opening three rounds to set themselves just two rounds away from the win. Na'Vi still won two rounds, but it was too little, too late, as the Swedish side picked up a 16-6 victory to win Arbalet Cup Europe.
