mousesports add karrigan
German powerhouse mousesports have announced that Finn "karrigan" Andersen has been brought into the squad.
The team had earlier this year announced the acquisition of Christian "Blizzard" Chmiel in order to complete their Counter-Strike division, following the tragic death and loss of Antonio "cyx" Daniloski.
In August this year, mousesports confirmed that Chmiel would indeed step into the ranks and don their colors for ESL Pro Series Germany 17, as well as playing the IEM5 European Championship with them.
It was just minutes ago that the esteemed organization announced that Finn "karrigan" Andersen had been brought into the squad from Full Gaming.
karrigan: now a mousesports player
In an interview conducted by mousesports.com, it says that Andersen masters the German language very well, seeing as his mother is of German origin. "There will be almost no language barrier", it reads.
HLTV.org had last month published an article stating that Navid "Kapio" Javadi is about to put an end to his gaming career. The mousesports ace had said: "The next months will probably be the last of my Counter-Strike career".
Furthermore, the article revealed that both Manuel "Tixo" Makohl and Fatih "gob b" Dayik are likely to step down their careers as well, the latter more certain than the first, but an official statement is yet to be released.
Kapio: set to leave?
With this being said, it is not unlikely that the team will undergo a roster revamp after the ESL Pro Series Germany finals. For now, mousesports holds the following six-man lineup:
Manuel "Tixo" Makohl
Roman "roman" Ausserdorfer
Fatih "gob b" Dayik
Navid "Kapio" Javadi
Christian "Blizzard" Chmiel
Finn "karrigan" Andersen
Seeing as Andersen is now out of Full Gaming, the squad is left with Jack "wazorN" Henriksen, Michael "Friis" Jørgensen and Morten "suraNga" Jensen, which only strengthens the likelihood of their breakup.
