Reports in Sweden are claiming that former MYM ace Marcus "Delpan" Larsson is set to join the ranks of fnatic.

The Swedish player has stood without a home since when his former team opted against renewing their contracts with Meet Your Makers in July earlier this year. Since then, Larsson has been considered as the hottest property available on the free market.

Following fnatic's decision to release Björn "threat" Pers the same month, speculations arose, which indicated that Larsson was set to join the Swedish giants. Another hot candidate was SK, whom Larsson assisted at World e-Sports Masters and IEM5.

According to the information rakaka.se have gathered, Larsson is about to step into the ranks of fnatic, choosing this over SK as an alternative, who reportedly have offered the former MYM man a contract.

Delpan to join fnatic?

The Swedish news site is furthermore reporting that several fnatic members have been linked to the exit door, but the situation is currently in an uncertain state. Will Larsson join? Who will depart, and who could possibly be joining up should the reports be correct?

No he is not. Dsn isn't strong enough. He just can't put solid numbers with the awp. Fnatic needs a player that is able to DESTROY with the green weapon. If you follow fnatic's numbers you will realize that dsn is the weakest.

Same here. I love the current line up very very much. Plus I am not a Delpan fan so I reli hope this wont become true :( I just dun think Delphan is the one. And Gux is definitly not the one to be removed. If cArn go I prefer threat more.

Gux played very good lately, he's the entry fragger, he's not suppose to have the same stats as dsn, GeT_RiGhT & f0rest, but he is very important ! I would like to say -cArn because when you've got this 4 amazing players and that the results don't follow, that can only provide from the lead I think... I would like to see RobbaN as an IGL in !

I would be incredibly sad if this was true... I knew from the start that getting Delpan would be a smart and unavoidable move for them if they kept losing likes this, but never for one second did I imagine that they could swap more than one player. time will tell... imo if two players actually leave, it will be cArn and dsn, and threat should replace cArn.

They've been doing so well, and now they finally have a challenge in the form of Na`Vi and the new mTw. Why would they leave now? It scares me because the CS scene will be completely different without this line-up. They have been the innovators as to how teams play this day and age. Nothing will ever be the same! If I had to guess, I would say that Get_Right might be leaving. He just doesn't put up the numbers that he used to anymore. Maybe dsn will leave because he's been playing for so long, and it would make sense that delpan steps in to replace his awp... but dsn has been amazing in 2010. Gossip reports revolving around the CS world usually end up being true... I hope, for once, this isn't the case.

well, I'm a huge fnatic fan and I fully agree with you about this, but although it kinda hurts, I must admit that getting Delpan would be a great thing for the team. replacing more than one player... now that's an entirely different story and I truly hope it won't happen. can't see gtr leaving though... he still is the best fragger in the team along with f0rest, and probably the best player in Sweden atm. replacing him with manne/keiz/Xizt won't be enough.

Hmm I think that some of fnatic doesn't want him in and some do...possibly carn/dsn/f0rest doesn't want him and GTR/GuX do, just a random thought. i'm kinda with you on that. it's a very intriguing idea that one or more members of fnatic would join SK and totally mix the lineups up. for instance it would be cool to see f0rest team up with RobbaN once more before their careers are over. and f0rest seems to be a good friend with Gux so perhaps he'd bring him into SK (though i doubt that the SK organisation want anything at all to do with him after the contract bullshit that went on). then dsn and cArn would leave fnatic and make room for Delpan, threat, kHRYSTAL and Xizt. so the lineups would be something like: SK.f0rest SK.RobbaN SK.MODDII SK.Gux SK.face fnatic.Delpan fnatic.GeT_RiGhT fnatic.threat fnatic.Xizt fnatic.kHRYSTAL or maybe Gux stays in fnatic instead of kHRYSTAL and allen/walle stays in SK. this is just something i think would be really fun if it happened, but i SERIOUSLY doubt it will. but a very intriguing thought.

If its anyone other than dsn leaving ill be disappointed, not because dsn is bad or anything (far from it) but he would be the only player that would actually make a bit of sense if delpan replaced him. If anyone else left and was replaced with delpan i think fnatic would be significantly worse tbh. Delpan should have joined SK, they would have improved alot with him as opposed to fnatic who i would presume only get worse (despite how good of a player he is, he just wouldtn work replacing anyone but dsn).

You'd think with all the line-up confusion SK is in, they'd do whatever they could to sign Delpan. I suppose they spent all their money on face and khrystal though... But SK is a team I'd wish would figure something out, I miss seeing them do well!

well, any Swedish player would rather play for fnatic. they are much more successful, they are known to be a stable and reliable organization with good sponsors and ofc they seem to have a lot of money too. at least we never heard about any money problem in fnatic, and they had no trouble getting Gux back.

Well Carn is supposed to retire soon, so im guessing its gonna be him stepping down and letting Delpan join, but two awpers and no in game leader is a problem. Dsn might drop also then and maybe they would try to get an in game leader to replace him. No idea who it would be though.

Definitely good news, Lets start with fnatic struggling through out 2010 to win events, line up not as keen as it used to be, not clicking, less motivation. Delpan will bring motivation, therefore fnatic will get their spirits back and start playing like in 2009. GeT_RiGhT and GuX will keep playing, rest will go out imo.

I actually don´t want them to change lineup but if the reports are true and they will replace 2 players then i would like to see fnatic: fnatic.f0rest fnatic.Gux fnatic.GeT_RiGhT ( caller ) fnatic.Delpan fnatic.moddii I think this lineup would be the ultimate na´vi antidote as someone mentioned above. With some hard practise and good tactics i think this lineup could win every tournament they attend.

Great shortterm fix but in reality carn and dsn will be gone within the next year and they should make a deal now to replace them. Delpan/moddii would be the perfect fit to replace carn/dsn, IMO if I was Delpan I would have signed with SK, once cArn and dsn quit cs fnatic is going to crumble like every other swedish team eventually

got to say that dsn is probably the most underestimated player out there, I don't think most people just how good he is.. i.e when GuX quit fnatic and threat was brought in dsn started fragging a whole lot more than before and got to play a little more on his own and showed he is an amazing player, but you can't let him play loose when you have GuX, GTR and f0rest, all of them have to play like that so dsn just adjusts his game.. carn and dsn will never go out of fnatic unless it's their own choice, and even though maybe gux, gtr and f0rest are leaving, I don't see how a team of carn, dsn, Delphan, Xizt and niko would not be just brilliant, less experienced raw talented players, playing with two of the most experienced, shaped players CS has to offer.
