playArt release viol

playArt have announced that Carlos "viol" de Paula has been released from the primary Counter-Strike team.

The Brazilian player linked up with the ex-mibr team in August, quickly becoming a fan's favourite with some eye-catching performances.

De Paula has been cut by playArt allegedly because of lacking the time to practice with the team.

During his time with the team, the former KaOz player won FIRE Brazil 2010 and the Latin American qualifier for DreamHack Winter. In Sweden, the former mibr squad crashed out of the tournament in the group stage after losses to fnatic and .no.

Brazilian sources claim that Bruno "bit" Fukuda, who has been without a team since being released by compLexity earlier this month, is a likely candidate to assume the position and has been seen practicing with playArt.

playArt now have:

Brazil Filipe "bt0" Moreno
Brazil Alan Diego "adr" Riveros
Brazil Pedro "Maluk3" Campos
Brazil Jean Michel "mch
" D'Oliveira

sad for him

they played good on dh, sad mibr removed them, if mibr give more time to this lu now they in the top 10 team international...i think. +bit or fresh talent.
2011-03-30 12:07
mibr didn't remove them, their manager was the 1 who payed more than 80% of the expenses, so he decided to pull them out of a death organization and bring them back to playart

How big is counter-strike in Brazil? I mean is there some tournaments in the country or is it only like international tournaments?
2011-03-30 12:08
Is very small in my opinion , tournaments ? just a few ones on lan , and on-line too :( Only qualifys WCG ESWC in the whole country :(
2011-03-30 12:38
Okey thanks
2011-03-30 12:34
currently is like #16 said but mibr already won some big tournaments in the past like eswc, shgopen, dreamhack and gamegune, so, it's not that small xd~
2011-03-30 14:58

2011-04-01 08:52
We haven't a lot of tournaments but the community is VERY big and there are a lot of good players in Brazil :)
2011-03-30 18:34
Okey thanks for all the answers ;)
2011-03-30 20:20
The community is huge, but the country is also huge and this is what make things difficult. It's not like in Europe where you can play Online with people from other countries, it's impossible to play with someone from Argentina, Peru or US for example because the ping is too high. And it's also hard to make competitions cause in Europe some places you can just go by train and it will take one hour or less. In brazil you'll have to go by plane in our national competitions and this require some amount of money as it's 5 players. Anyway there are some great teams that can do some damage and I hope they'll have conditions to appear on the international scene.

How can it be racism if I'm refering to your fucking nationality you idiot? Also, to be clear, OUR nationality. I know who I'm criticizing here. Yes, brazilians like the ones who "try" to speak such an easy language like english and fail, make me want to hide my country's flag. Don't know english? Then this website isn't for you. Click the fucking X.

2011-03-31 10:06
My english isn't perfect. Agreed. Aswell? I never said one must have perfect english. Have a good english, that's enough. And refrain from using international forums with you country's flag if you don't. People like this are the ones embarassing us. They're the jungle monkeys some xenophobics take every brazilian person to be. And no, your english isn't shit. It's decent. Please keep posting as usual. By the way, when I posted on gotfrag I was about 13 years old. I joined english lessons at 15.

yeah, that's the point, you do live here. so stop talking like u dont..jungle monkeys? just because you speak a litle bit of english doesnt give u the right to say shit about other people who dont. and as i said up there your english its far from being good.
2011-03-31 10:02
Just because you can say "the book is on the table" doesn't mean you should go to www.hltv.org and start posting retarded stuff like "cogu are best player of word". I wanted to kill myself when I read that one. My english isn't perfect, I agree, but according to Academia da Força Aérea, Insituto Tecnológico da Aeronáutica and Instituto Militar de Engenharia, it is at least pretty good. Comparing your opinion to 3 renomated universities, guess who takes the cake? Of course it's you my beloved brazilian fellow! Because I'm wasting my time trying to motivate another fellow brazilians to learn english, while they can't understand a shitpickle of what I say! I love you all. Go die in a car fire.
