ESC Gaming sign ex-RG-Esports team
ESC Gaming have announced they have picked up the former RG-Esports Counter-Strike division.
The Scandinavian team join ESC Gaming as their international division, with the organisation keeping in their ranks the German team, who finished in second place at the EPS finals at the weekend.
The former alchemists Unleashed team departed RG-Esports last week just two months after their arrival, having been seduced by a better offer from a financially stronger organisation.
According to Markus "pronax" Wallsten, the support ESC Gaming will provide will allow the team to take their game to the next level.
"We are very happy about the opportunity that ESC Gaming has given us," he said. "With this move, we have everything a team needs to be one of the best in the world."
The Norwegian/Swedish mixture were last seen at Xperia PLAY, finishing in 3rd-4th place together with mTw as the two teams split the prize. The team are also through to the second group stage of the ICSC 8.
The new ESC Gaming team will make their first appearance for the organisation at the BYOC qualifier for DreamHack Summer on 18 June, where they will present:
