e-Stars announce invited teams
The e-Stars committee have made their decision and the list of invited participants is now known.
After weeks of deliberation since the polls were closed the organizers have announced the participants for the e-Stars Seoul MSI Beat IT Championship 2011.
In Europe where six teams needed to be found, five of the top six were selected, with Lions losing out to the seventh placed mTw. As defending champions, Frag eXecutors from Poland were also invited.
In the Americas Evil Geniuses from the United States were always a near certainty, but the big shock came as UMX.us was named over the highly favored FireGamers and Wild Ineters as the other representative. Both FireGamers and Wild Ineters declined the invite which meant UMX.us were able to receive the trickle down invite.
Out the Asian teams, both Tyloo and ex-redCode (project_kr) placed highly in the votes, and the organizers agreed, the final Asian spot went to UMX from Taiwan, who were chosen above wNv from China.
