Alternate announce new team
Alternate have announced their new team ahead of the upcoming ESL Pro Series season in Germany.
Last time we heard from the German squad, they announced the departure of Kenyon "KenaN" Temmel and Christian "ChRRRRp" Porten, leaving the team with just three members.
Alternate today went on to announce the new team to represent the organization, seeing just one member from the old lineup. Christian "crisby" Schmitt is the only guy who is featured in the new lineup, meaning the team has removed Christoph "chrizzo" Krämer and Gerhard "gerdi" Grimm.
Joining is the departed mousesports member Manuel "approx" Zeitz, who was not included in the team when the organization announced changes last month. Zeitz will be accompanied by a former team mate in Alternate, as Roman "Roman R." Reinhardt has also found his way back to Alternate.
A bit surprisingly, following recent rumors and a video recorded by ESL TV at the previous EPS season finals, another returnee to the Alternate squad is Navid "Kapio" Javadi. Javadi played for Alternate up untill 2007, when he became their biggest rival, with his transfer to mousesports. He has now been appointed team captain of Alternate, the organization he won WSVG with back in 2006.
Kapio returns to Alternate
The last player in the lineup is Julian "hool" Walter, who last season hailed for Hardware4u, with whom he reached third place.
Alternate now have the following team:
Christian "crisby" Schmitt
Manuel "approx" Zeitz
Roman "Roman R." Reinhardt
Navid "Kapio" Javadi
Julian "hool" Walter
You will be able to see the new Alternate lineup in action soon, as the upcoming ESL Pro Series season in Germany will kick off in mid-August.
