DreamHack Valencia to feature CS
DreamHack will be hosting a full size LAN event in Valencia on September 21-23 with a BYOC area and eSports tournaments in six games including Counter-Strike 1.6.
DreamHack Open's dates were announced already over three months ago but now the full details of their Valencia stop have been published with Counter-Strike 1.6 being one of the game titles at the tournament.
The Swedish LAN organizer also has another stop remaining in Bucharest roughly a month later which is another possibility for a tournament in Counter-Strike 1.6 but plans for the Romanian stop are yet to be released.
CS 1.6 to be played at another DreamHack tournament
According to DreamHack Spain's website, the tournament in Valencia will act as a qualifier for DreamHack Winter 2012 which implies that Counter-Strike 1.6 will also be featured at the Winter event, traditionally the biggest of the year.
DreamHack has been a long time supporter of Counter-Strike 1.6 which has been their most popular game in the BYOC area as well. They have shown loyalty to games by also still including QuakeLive as a title at this past weekend's summer event.
