mTw sign face

mTw have completed their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team with the addition of Johan "face" Klasson.

The Swedish player had been without a team since the disbandment of SK in July, a result of Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" and Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg leaving to take part in NiP's revival.

The news comes just three days after mTw said their goodbyes to Philipp "Osirisbash" Kaczmarczyk and Steffen "sraven" Wiegner, leaving the team with one man short.

face joins up with mTw

Klasson had been poised to join mTw for some time after being seen playing a lot with the team's members, which was confirmed by the German-based organization today.

"I'm really happy to be joining mTw. They are a really good organisation and a good name in e-sports. It's going to be a thrill playing with these new players who I have never played with before, with Source and 1.6 now coming together to play CS:GO. It's a bit of an adjustment for me and for every player to change game, of course, and I'm going to do my absolutely best to make this team go all the way to the top," Klasson told the team's website.

mTw now have:

Sweden Alexander "rdl" Redl
Germany Andre "nooky" Utesch
United Kingdom George "hudzG" Hoskins
Canada Joshua "steel" Nissan

Sweden Johan "face" Klasson

so they won't participate in upcoming EPS Germany CS:GO tournament, or they'll gonna bring another 2 german players ?
2012-09-09 18:50
You don't need 3 Germans for EPS Ger, just 3 guys living there. Maybe some of them will move to Germany, or mb they already live there with 3 I'm not sure.
2012-09-09 19:48
My sources might be wrong, but I heard that steel and rdl live in Germany so if it's true, probably we will see them in EPS.

umad ? this is just another brick which sustains the argument that players move on to CS:GO SOLELY on the purpose of money gain
2012-09-09 18:53
the true question is why are you so mad bro?! going there and there and replying shit about how GO bought the pros and etc. I played 1.6 only for becoming someone to gain eventually some money otherwise with thev fuck i would spended my time playing some cartoon game. Of course that is all about money, no need to spam all the topics and news...go and play your game, tired to read your garbage comments.

Fell free to filter CS GO and exempt us from your bullshit. You are just getting anoying, and I hope a ban is comeing to your way. For your knowledge: me (and I gues thousands of other players) don't play 1.6 anymore and switched to playing GO not only because it is a new game, but because of the kids like you who live in their own world and flame everybody that has the guts to call they are wrong.

they could've very well gotten a decent job (they will have to eventually so why not start early ?) and stick to the online leagues/local lans just for fun :)
2012-09-09 23:26
Well, it's all about money. When the moneygivers wakes up from their dream and realizes CS:GO lacks community and players it's dead.

Probably along with competitive FPS as a whole. Buuut, it will only die if it lacks players and pro teams, which at the minute, it certainly doesn't.
2012-09-10 10:39
It lacks players for sure. People don't want to switch to a worse game. Also it doesn't have the magic of 1.6 with phenomenal movements and overall feeling. It just don't have the potential of being a big game. I really doubt there will ever be a lot of players. And without players no community. This will be verified or not within 3-4 months I think

It has loads of players. I don't agree with the steam stats. When you refresh the servers, there is so many, and that's not even including the people in competitive/casual mode. There is also a very active pro scene, that over the next year will get bigger as 1.6 and source come to there end. I also imagine a lot more of the stubborn people will try the game out once there is absolutely no 1.6 scene. I do agree, it does lack the magic of 1.6, but all the updates now are in the right direction, and it is really worth a shot. But yeah.. main point is there IS actually a hell of a lot of active players. Just refresh the community servers, it feels like back in 1.6 old days, when there were shite loads of public servers, all with lots of different mods. :P
2012-09-10 11:37
It sounds promising but I'm sceptical. The future of CS:GO will unfold soon :)

clearly havent seen him play
2012-09-09 19:04
ok, i haven't seen him play in cs:go yet but in css he hasn't been better than average so why should he suddenly be that good in cs:go.
2012-09-09 19:08
He Was actually pretty damn good at css too, been voted 3rd at the i46 mvp list, and has been the main asset of mtw for the past few weeks/months. In csgo, he's one of the best player i've seen so far, but i've only watched gathers so i can't really tell.
2012-09-09 19:32
My point proven, you are just another typical hltv retard that thinks because someone is bad/isn't amazingly world class at another game that hes gonna be shit at csgo. rdl was not a bad css player, infact he was pretty good. CSGO and CSS isn't the same game, the aim is completely different, its a DIFFERENT game

i for one love the idea of multi-cultural teams and i think organizations like WCG really robbed us of teams like 3D, NoA ...teams that had potential ..but couldnt compete because of stupid rule barriers... i think leagues should never implement nationality rules , unless they are strict national leagues , but international leagues should allow teams like this to compete.

+1 it is interesting when players from different countries come together on a team. As you say, in the past there have been very good teams of this description. Hopefully mTw won't get locked out of many tournaments.

2012-09-09 20:02

Seems like its going to be a lot of international teams talking English while playing in CSGO :/ Wonder why that is... Why didnt we see that many of those top teams in 1.6.

2012-09-10 14:53
Well, if it doesn't work it will regulate itself. You know what I mean? At least it's worth a try and it's also a good opportunity for players who come from smaller countries which don't have a big/supported scene.
2012-09-10 16:25
But is csgo =[
2012-09-09 19:19
This is their job, they ll switch to the game which will give them money.. evry pro team will make a switch now cuz they see money in GO and nothing in 1.6 BTW 1.6 is now officially dead ty for all the great times.
