The Romanian DreamHack partner PGL has stressed to HLTV.org that the upcoming event in Bucharest will stay with CS 1.6.
Following yesterday's announcement about DreamHack Valencia switching from 1.6 to CS:GO, it was aired in the community that the €10,000 tournament could be heading in the same direction.
PGL, who is DreamHack's Romanian partner, today contacted HLTV.org to stress that the tournament will stick with the planned 1.6 tournament.
DreamHack Bucharest is due to take place October 20-21, with seven of the sixteen teams already confirmed, including giants such as Natus Vincere and fnatic.
We remind you that four teams will qualify via our two online qualifiers, read more about these by clicking here.
