rdl: "No ex-ALTERNATE move"

Alexander "rdl" Redl has issued a statement to clarify that he has not teamed up with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive squad known as ex-ALTERNATE.

The Swedish player was seen playing for ex-ALTERNATE in Sunday's open qualifier for EPS Germany, helping the team to secure one of the two spots that were up for grabs.

But Redl, who is currently without a team after being released by mTw last week, insisted that it was a one-off thing and that he has no intention of joining ex-ALTERNATE on a permanent basis.

"I have not joined alternate," he told HLTV.org. "I was only helping them out in the EPS tournament.

"I already have another team coming up. I do not know when it will become official, but it will be soon."

ALTERNATE's CS:Source division qualified for EPS in Wednesday's invite tournament, but theorganisation has not yet confirmed what their CS:GO division will look like.

ex-ALTERNATE currently have the following roster:

Germany Tobias "Troubley" Tabbert
Germany Hendrik "strux1" Goetzendorff
Germany Dimitrios "stavros" Smoilis
United Kingdom Brandon "Weber" Weber

Really unprofessional threads by HLTV.org lately. I know you guys (HLTV.org) are quite excited or whatever about CS:GO and about the upcoming tournaments and new lineups / teams , but you should write about official teams and announcements only. I saw the name "rdl" three times in one page. Why? Choose your threads wisely .. it looks bad.

this, HLTV.org has been the best coverage site because of the lack of made up news. The CS community doesn't need this and you guys shouldn't copy the style of an inferior website *cough cough* retardred.org *cough cough*.
