ESWC selects female teams
The Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC) organisers have revealed the names of the teams who will be taking part in the female Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament.
With registration for the female tournament coming to an end on Tuesday, the ESWC has now finished reviewing all the applications and picked which teams will be on show at the Paris Games Week from November 1-4.
Defending champions UBINITED will have a chance to add yet another ESWC title to their cabinet, being joined by the likes of Team ALTERNATE and PINK ZINIC on the participants' list.
The following seven teams have been selected by the ESWC committee:
Epsilon eSports (Foxglove, Jennyzz, Strawberry, Furia, Lrn)
Ubinited (missharvey, potter, ali, jso, sapphire)
Team ALTERNATE (beyoNd*, kathi, n i c i, iRene, Cazzidy)
PINK ZINIC (IpSa, lillsan, aNNa, HellRose, Llo)
Reason Gaming (Abiii, Salah, Kaat, aNi-, Sephi)
inFernity ladies (jance., Maiuska, Glee, LejuskA, Pinkdidi)
blackWidow (Elorita, Gata, Aidy, kYs, Barbara)
Last year's runner-ups, Millenium, have not been given a wildcard for the ESWC world finals, but will instead have to make their way through the national qualifiers between October 31 and November 1, where the following teams will be playing for the last spot:
