I Pensionati join NextGaming

October 5th, 2012 22:35

NextGaming have become the latest organisation to venture into CS:GO by picking up the team known as I Pensionati.

The Italian team boast four players who made their mark in the CS:Source scene at an international level with OX ENERMAX, including Guglielmo "GUGLi" Carraro, who played for Dignitas while studying in London.

Following the release of CS:GO, I Pensionati decided to try their luck in the new game, and the move immediately paid off, as the team won the Italian EMS qualifier.

In addition to the four ex-CS:Source players, NextGaming also contain former redByte duo Matteo "trig" Zamperetti and Federico "uNd" Malizia, two well-known players in the 1.6 scene.

With the victory in the Italian EMS qualifier, NextGaming have booked a spot in the European Qualifying Round 1, but the team are also hopeful that they will be handed a wildcard into the ESWC.

NextGaming are represented by:

Italy Guglielmo "GUGLi" Carraro
Italy Christian "Stylahhhhh" Forte
Italy Riccardo "kIMERA" D'urso
Italy Tommaso "Overfly" Tschuor
Italy Matteo "trig" Zamperetti
Italy Federico "uNd" Malizia (backup)

"two well-known players in the 1.6 scene" Weve seen them at most of the international event (where Italy has been represented), but they havent won like one match at any big lan (winning against 3rd world countries doesnt count). You shouldnt call them well-known. I hope they make a better name for themselves in CSGO. GL!

2012-10-06 19:10

2012-10-06 15:20
" well known " ahhaa.. You made my day ! (or not).. I don't know about the source guys, but these two 1.6'ers are so weak.
