Virtus.pro make CS:GO switch
Virtus.pro have announced the switch from CS 1.6 to CS:GO, undergoing the change of two players in the transition.
Earlier today we brought the story that Virtus.pro wouldn't be making the trip to PGS this weekend in Portugal. Virtus.pro have now announced that the Russian-based organization will be making the switch to CS:GO.
By doing so the team waves goodbye to the Russian veteran-duo Dmitry "hooch" Bogdanov and Aleksey "LeX" Kolesnikov.
LeX quits as player with Virtus.pro moving on to CS:GO
Kolesnikov will from now on be obtaining the role as team manager while Bogdanov won't be sticking around for CS:GO. Another member not making the switch to CS:GO is the Ukrainian veteran Alexey "xaoc" Kucherov.
To gear up for CS:GO the team add Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow as captain. Karasiow has in most recent times acted as commentator for Natus Vincere's stream by returns to pro gaming for CS:GO. Another Ukrainian member joining is Taras "craft1k" Voitenko who leaves KerchNET to join the CS:GO quest with Virtus.pro.
The fifth member for Virtus.pro's CS:GO team is from Kazakhstan. By far the star of Kazakhstan, Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev is not done with pro gaming, making the transition from CS 1.6 to CS:GO.
AdreN joins Virtus.pro for CS:GO
This means that Virtus.pro will mount the following CS:GO team:
Michael "evil" Garanin
Emil "kucher" Akhundov
Kiril "ANGE1" Karasiow
Taras "craft1k" Voitenko
Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev
Virtus.pro state that news regarding the first tournament for the team will be announced shortly.
