fnatic to change one player before DH

fnatic have revealed that team will undergo at least one roster change ahead of DreamHack Winter.

The Danish/Swedish mix has already started practicing CS:GO with a view to preparing for DreamHack Winter, for which they secured entry after winning the Romanian qualifier in CS 1.6 last month.

It will be the first CS:GO tournament for fnatic, who will have less than two weeks of practice before the event in Jönköping.

In a statement to fnatic.com, Patrik "cArn" Sättermon admitted that the team does not have high hopes for DreamHack Winter, but noted that a roster change is inevitable and will be revealed shortly.

"I would also like to use this moment to announce that we are about to announce one new player in short that will represent the black and orange colours at our first CS:GO tournament, Dreamhack Winter," Sättermon said.

"We will enter Dreamhack Winter to gain experience, and we are seeking to reach our full potential in 2013 where we also are hoping CS:GO to have a more prominent position in the world of eSports."

fnatic are without a doubt the most successful team of the year, winning a host of tournaments which include GameGune, DreamHack Summer and Copenhagen Games.

The Scandinavian team's line-up currently looks as follows:

He joined to be their new IGL, and he failed in that task (I recall karrigan is the one who calls now). So... FYRR73 is still a great player, but karrigan is better. I would search for a new IGL in FYRR73 spot to give karrigan all the freedom he wants.

FYRR73 didn't fail in his IGL role. fnatic didn't have enough time to practice with FYRR73 to be their IGL as he joined a bit late. So it was decided that karrigan would give the calls. :)

im 99% sure it will be fyrrte... since he didnt seem too pleased when talking about go... and he have problems understanding danish, moddii understands danish since he live in denmark could be face that joins... but then they dont have a caller etc could allso be that arcadion makes a comeback in go... who knows (carn does...) When Fyrrte joined fnatic, he became IGL, but as time passed, they decided that its better held on Karrigans hand as IGL. So indeed fyrrte would get the boot, as you said, he wasnt pleased with csgo on the video. And for the player joining, I really hope it's zonic, but wouldnt think so. I also would wish that kalle joined them, but dont think that would happen, more chanse in zonic joining fnatic. but what is most likely to happen, might be face, as I recall right, he could understand danish also when trace was in SK of short period of time + he is teamless so no messy contract arguements or whatever. + probably the best player to hold down B site alone, though might not be that case in GO.

Maybe he didnt feel the team chemistry in mTw and couldnt focus on it and lost motivation because of that, Im just speculating. Of course, most possible way would be, he didnt like enough CS:GO and couldnt do much about his skills. Though I have seen in some gathers that GTR streamed and face was one of the oponents that they met, he could do dmg on gather. Atleast the match I was watching. But don't know for sure, Im just speculating, as I said above.
