Group stage of Fnatic FragOut CS:GO League featuring $2,750 is at its close with NiP and VeryGames on top. The relegation stage is scheduled to be played on February 3rd and 4th.
Lemondogs, Anexis and Natus Vincere were put into group A alongside the favorites from Sweden. However, Ninjas in Pyjamas did not give anyone a chance for a first seed placing as they went on to win the group with 9 points and +30 round difference.
By the time NiP was certain to be first, Natus Vincere was already out of the league after losing all three matches, which meant that the last match of group A would only decide second and third seed who both go into relegation stage. Lemondogs handled Anexis with a pretty close 16-12 score and secured second place for themselves while Anexis sit on third.
In group B, VeryGames, fnatic, mousesports and Virtus.pro had to play against each other to determine who goes directly to semi-final and who gets the chance to fight for a spot in the relegation stage. After the final match a three-way tie was settled for the remaining teams.
The Danes are ruled out of the tie with a -7 RD, while Virtus.pro have to settle for a third place with -2 and mousesports proceeds to relegation matches from second place with a +9 difference.
The relegation stage which will be played in a BO3 manner is set to start and the schedule is following:
19:00: mousesports vs. Anexis
20:00: Virtus.pro vs. Lemondogs
Winners of the match between mousesports and Anexis will have to fight their way to the final through NiP while VeryGames are waiting for the Russians and Swedes to decide who meets the Frenchmen in the semi-final.
