February 5th, 2013 20:20

StarLadder.TV added one division to their fifth season of SLTV Series. ProSeries will function as a connection between the StarSeries and AmSeries which were already hosted in previous seasons.

SLTV StarSeries already announced its participants' list yesterday, however the organizers added a new division for other European teams. Any team can sign up for the qualification tournaments into the new SLTV ProSeries which will hand out $1,500 in the finals.

The schedule for SLTV ProSeries looks as follows:

Qualifications: February 2nd-10th
Online Group Stage Start: February 11th
Online Group Stage End: March 22nd
Finals: March 23rd-24th

22 names out of 32 are already known, therefore there are 10 spots left fo be filled by teams from two remaining qualifications. While one of them has already started, teams can still sign up for the third and last qualification until February 7th.

Teams that qualify for the SLTV ProSeries will have a chance to get a hold of these prizes:

1. $700 + slot in StarSeries
2. $500 + slot in StarSeries
3. $300 + relegation match for slot in StarSeries
4. relegation match for slot in StarSeries

SLTV has also prepared a third division named AmSeries that will take an unlimited amount of teams. Any team that does not manage to qualify for ProSeries can sign up until midnight on February 12th. The Amateur division will hand out $1,000 and four slots in the Pro division, while 5th-8th placed teams will play a relegation match for another slot.
