Absolute Legends have announced via their website that Andreas "schneider" Lindberg has left the team.
The news comes as a major surprise as Lindberg had been on the team for less than two months, and the Swedish team had been performing well in ESEA-Invite, in which they lie in sixth position, since he joined as a replacement for Faruk "pita" Pita.
However, the former Western Wolves ace said that he had developed a fractious relationship with the rest of the squad following divergences over the team's playing style.
"They are great guys, I wish them the best of luck, but we just were not on the same page on how we wanted to play, so we decided that this was the best thing to do," he told HLTV.org.
Lindberg has seemingly wasted little time to find a new team to represent, having joined Epsilon's roster on ESEA's website right after quitting Absolute Legends.
In the ex-WRTT team, he will reunite with former Western Wolves team-mate Robin "flusha" Rönnquist.
Absolute Legends, who have five victories from 10 matches in ESEA, are now in a hurry to find their last player as they will take on Anexis on Sunday.
Following Lindberg's departure, Absolute Legends now have the following quartet:
Jim "zneel" Andersson
Markus "pronax" Wallsten
Jonathan "lidde" Lidgren
Alexander "rdl" Redl
