Virtus.pro have booked a place in the Fnatic FragOut Grand Final following a surprising 2-0 victory over VeryGames.
This was the third defeat for the French side since picking up Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom as a replacement for Cédric "RpK" Guipouy last month. The other two times were against n!faculty and Ninjas in Pyjamas, both for ESEA.
Fresh from winning the title at Epsilan at the weekend, VeryGames gave a disappointing account of themselves on the first map, de_mirage_csgo, allowing Virtus.pro to run out 16-4 victors.
On de_dust2_se, the ESWC runners-up came out stronger, and pulled off an impressive performance in the second half after being down 10-5 at the break. In overtime, Virtus.pro were the happier in all the close rounds, and the former 1.6 team won the map 19-17.
