Sam "RattlesnK" Gawn from Overrated Individuals sat with Christian "1nfiii" Weinert to touch upon various subjects, such as chemistry, team roles and his behavior in-game.

Gawn tries to explain how a team should work concerning the chemistry and the roles of each player. He points out how important it is to pick players carefully and even gives an example how it works in his team in particular.

While on the subject, RattlesnK emphasizes his opinion on snipers and goes on to say that Ninjas in Pyjamas are not going to be the best team when everyone catches up with them, if they do not have a top-tier sniper by then.

Towards the end of the interview the sniper and in-game leader of Overrated Individuals explains his personality and how it affects his teammates.

Delpan is far away from NiP´s level. Have seen him pretty early playing gathers with some of the NiP players. And now Fiffy is very strong with awp, and much better with rifler, pistol and playstyle.

i played 1.6 top end of European scene until it completely collapsed in the UK as ESWC and WCG stopped doing UK stops, anyone that was 'decent' moved to CSS for prizemoney & salary as UK had 0 sponsorship at that time in 1.6 unfortunately otherwise you'd of seen a hell of a lot more teams after 4Kings era or after 2006/07

I don't really need to justify anything I did, not sure how someone can be in the right teams at the right times when I played in the best UK team from 2004-2007 and then only bettered by Salvo, and then in 2009 back to being the best UK team again with Crack Clan, I also made many impacts in decent games, but you probably only followed the scene from 2010 like the rest of the noobs. I also don't care about being a top "gamer" anymore, every version of CS is awful and dead and gone, move on plz.

I agree with what he said at 2:15: Good ingame leaders like gob b, mooN, CHEF-KOCH and Kapio were very crucial for the German 1.6 teams. Since they're gone nothing filled that gap. Even though CS:GO is tacticwise much closer to CSS all these German CSS players, who play GO now, fail to come up with good tactics. In 1.6 Germany was always in the top5 and most of the success was the result of good tactics. Aiming wise most Germans (expect players like cyx and roman) weren't up to the level of other international top players (and definitely not superior to them, so they couldn't make the difference with their aim - they had to come up with good tactics). Just my opinion.

Obviously he's a good player but he shouldn't be making ignorant blanket statements about teams, especially a team such as nip who have yet to lose a single important game. Like everyone else was saying, the awp in this game isn't as impactful as it was in 1.6/css. Not to mention fifflaren is a competent enough awper to get the job done.

nobody think about maybe NiP bit everyone because they don't use so much snipe, and they focus a lot of time to open with rifle? gt,forest and xitz were the bests aimers in 1.6 and if you add 2 very good support players with experience... is hard stop them. I disagree, because NiP are playing momentum based game with all 5 of theyr players, therefore rifflers and individual skills are more important for them than having a single specialised sniper. If they picked up an awper then it would make theyr regular non-awp rounds less consistent.

By 'catch up' I think he means when NiP's form begins to dip where perhaps other teams improve, if the game lasts long enough competitively there will obviously become a point where that happens and the gap wont be as wide as it is currently. They may remain #1 team for a very long time, but they will not win every single LAN they compete in for the duration of their existence as a CS:GO team. He believes Fifflaren as an AWP'er isn't talented enough to avoid being looked at as one of the first potential weak links, individually, which is a fair enough opinion considering the game is still in it's competitive infancy.

What you people are obviously failing to understand is that this footage could have been taken from around Dreamhack, when Sam was in Mousesports (he's wearing the mouz shirt). At this time, Fiffy was simply not up to par with other awpers. Since then, we've seen a dramatic change and he's gotten really good. Just food for thought.

Just to say I actually really like fifflaren and I have known him for a number of years now since CGS. I find it quite ridiculous that the title of this video is about him when it was just a comment that NiP may well need a better sniper if they begin to lose matches. It is not a bizzare comment to make and I think at the time it was a valid one. It is clear that fifflaren has always been more comfortable rifling than using the AWP and in fact he took up the AWP to do a job for his team. The fact he has done better with the weapon (as with rifles he has always been good) was not something I predicted at the time of the interview. I just find it outstanding that HLTV.org have published my interview in the manner they have. It really was to get all of you having a good moan and to get a lot of comments. Thats media for you though. As for everyone flaming our team and calling us shit it really is crazy considering we've barely played together at the moment. We have no strats, hardly played individually, and I have 10 exams during the next 2 weeks so havn't even considered our play at all. It would do everyone some good if people didn't judge everyone quite so quickly. As I have said I really like Fifflaren, and so it would make me happy for him to continue playing extremely well. I certainly do not want to join NiP and for anyone who knows me this is quite obvious. Anyway, just thought it was necessary to make it clear as a lot of rubbish has been said here.
